Image Handling 101
It's all about compression and sizing
For those who don't know, I run the blog service Blogplot.com where we host over 60 blogs. Image uploads are limited to 90KB for users to minimize the data load on our server. Here are some tips to help you get the best out of your images at 90K:
1. Resize your image to 700 pixels. (The majority of users have a screen resolution of 800 X 600)
2. Save your image as a JPG and use moderate compression. The image below was compressed 70%
