Podcast, Audioblog and Videoblog Creation Tool
I've been hearing alot about podcasting lately, and recently ran across a service called AudioBlog. It allows you to post blog entries in audio or video format efficiently. Their player/recorder is flash-based which streams the audio and video files through a web browser. Check out this interesting implemtation on live journal where someone is reading and interpreting someone else's blog entries. They add in sappy music and sound effects to make it more dramatic, it turns out to be quite entertaining. The downside to this blog service is that it's not free ($4.95 per month). Hopefully someone will offer this as a free service somehow in the future.
