Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Not to be outdone by Japan, President Bush is pushing to donate over $350 million to aid the tsunami victims, and I think that is lovely. I wish we could give more. Bush also urged every citizen of the U.S. to donate individually as well, another great thing. But when it comes to donating his own money, Georgie isn't so generous. For instance, he has donated $10,000 which is about 0.06% of his average net worth, that's the equivilant of me donating somewhere around $3.00.

"Mo Yizhen, a 6-year-old in the northeastern province of Liaoning, gave $22 in coins that he saved for three years, the official Xinhua News Agency said. link"

I'm sure she was just trying to out-do little Jimmy down the street who donated his Jose Conseco rookie card.

Mr. President, I'm begging you to stop the B.S. We know who you really are.
