Little Rock Mud Run

Ryan and I ran in the annual Little Rock Mud Run this morning. It's a 5k setup as a fun run where at the finish line you are required to crawl through a 300 ft mud pit to complete the race. Optionally, you can wear a costume to make it more interesting. Danielle, Mags, and I headed out to Two Rivers Park this morning around 7:15 to meet up with Ryan and Leslie, we were late as usual but made it in time to register and get my costume ready. The race was inside the park area and most of the course was through a wet field. I was dressed as a toy soldier with my body painted green; I wore a mask which made it hard to breath. Note to self: never run a race with a mask on. Ryan was Suddam Hussein or Forrest Gump. He looked a lot like Suddam but people were saying "Run Forrest, Run!" during the race. He ran pretty well and I think he finished up 4th overall. I won best costume for adults. It was a great time and I will definitely do it again next year.
