Mt. St. Helens Eruption
Cory grabbed this screen shot at 2:13 pm CST from a live webcam posted on the local USDA Forest service website right as the first steam erupted from Mt. St. Helens. Instantly the camera went down, for bandwidth reasons I assume. He was in a conference call at the time and was just watching it in the background. It's pretty cool that he captured the image live. As is the nature of our business, we may end up going to Washington.
I set up a scheduled task on my computer at work to automatically download the webcam image every five minutes for the next couple of days in case anything else happens. I may post a time-lapse of what I collect either way.
