Weekend Camping Trip

Ryan, Josh, and I went camping this weekend in Northern Arkansas. Our original plans were to camp at Blanchard Springs Campground but when we arrived Friday night, all the sites were full. We spent the next 2 hours trying to find a place to camp. After visiting the Ozark Folk Center State Park near Mountain View and realizing that it didn't have camping facilities, we decieded to just stay at an RV park. We pulled up at around midnight and a man came up to us and told us that we'd probably rather camp on the river somewhere instead. He gave us directions to a local spot which was actually the trail head to North Sylamore Trail. We spent the night there and the next morning we packed up and headed to Blanchard Springs Campground to see if anyone had left. Surprisingly several people had left so we had a lot of choiches for campsites. We remained at Blanchard the rest of the trip.
